The 10km time trial around Jerasulem is sure to be one of the most memorable opening stages of any grand tour. We will be ideally positioned to watch the action and enjoy the carnival atmosphere. Our last night in Israel will be spent in Tel Aviv. Tel Hotel is the perfect setting for our stay in Tel Aviv, we can look forward to a very different pace of life in this vibrant city. Here we will watch the closing kilometres of the second stage before enjoying one of the many restaurants in the evening. Our final day in Israel sees us visit the start of stage 3. A chance to take photos, get autographs and chat with your favourite pro’s.
We urge those interested in this trip of a life time to book early and secure flights out of Tel Aviv as soon as possible.
We believe the essence of a great tour is organisation and allowing you plenty of time to enjoy your holiday. For this reason our tour starts on Tuesday, with our team ready and in place to pick you up at Tel Aviv airport. From here you will be transferred privately to Arthur Hotel in Jerasulm. The city will already be alive with Giro d’Italia fever.
On your arrival at the hotel there will be time to relax and unpack before we assist you with your bikes. For those hiring bikes our mechanics will be ready to help you with a quick bike fit. In the late afternoon you will have your first opportunity to spin the legs as our guides will take you on an easy 30km ride in the surrounding area.
Dinner will be served in a nearby restaurant which serves a mixture of local and international dishes. The end to a perfect day in this incredible city.
After breakfast both riders and riders can look forward to a day full of highlights. The ride today of 70 km’s is largely flat and we are sure to see many of the Pro teams out and about on roads around Jerusalem. As the riders depart we have arranged for non-riders to have a fascinating walking tour of the Jerusalem. The tour will be conducted in English and finish in time for non-riders to meet up with riders for lunch.

Your fourth day in Israel and the first stage of the Giro d’Italia! Friday promises to be a fabulous exciting day as we get to see the riders up close and personal fight for the first Pink Jersey. No cycling holiday can be enjoyed without the right amount of challenge and the right amount of coffee breaks. We pride ourselves on getting to know our clients and have a range of different packages that cater for all levels of ability and cycling aspirations. Below is how we categorise our cycling breaks. If you are unsure about anything then we will be delighted to answer your questions.
Barbaro – Packages designed by people who enjoy pain! If you are a rider that gets a thrill from hours in the saddle and riding uphill on a regular basis then these trips are for you. An excellent level of fitness is needed as the demands placed on you and the bike from riding one of these packages is savage!
Difficile – It is too easy to say that these packages are for club cyclists. However they are for club cyclists along with riders who take cycling and training seriously. An appetite for long distances and riding uphill are needed as the rides will be long, challenging and at times fast.
Medio – Designed with the average cyclists in mind these packages offer the rider the chance to experience flats, rolling hills and the odd mountain top finish. If you have realised your days in the pro peleton are over but you still love cycling, then these holidays are for you.
Facile – If you are booking on one of our ‘Easy’ packages then prepare yourself for plenty of flat riding and flat white coffees. These steady paced and enjoyable weeks are designed to appeal to those looking for a holiday with cycling.
