Absolutely a 5 Star Experience! Rides were wonderful - amazing routes with even more amazing scenery. Support services were excellent -- nothing was too much for Alberto and the team to do. Meals included local cuisine in local restaurants and bistros. We highly recommend Italy Bike Tours and Alberto and the team.

We just completed the Italy Bike Tours ‘Tuscany Sip & Cycle’, which was incredible. Our guides included Alberto and Ivan who were very professional, organised and supportive. The quality of the ride routes was 2nd to none. However the big surprise for me was the quality of the extra activities that were organised including wine tours, truffle hunting and a private tour of Siena. These were outstanding. The meals were also of a very high standard. I will certainly be booking another tour and I highly recommend Italy Bike Tours.

John-Lee, Ivan and Alberto are great to work with. They have extensive local knowledge in bike routes and conditions. They provide sufficient on-bike food and drinks, they provide expert mechanical support. All in all they made the rides easier than it would have been. And equally importantly, John-Lee took us to lots of nice restaurants for great Italian food and wines to grease up the gears! Massive thanks to the Italy Bike Tour crew for the wonderful trip!

Absolutely amazing bike trip with John and Giovanni. I loved every moment. It is great for various skill levels and there were two guides to accommodate two different biking levels on the trip. The sights were outstanding. The guides were attentive and lived locally that made it even more authentic. The hotels were luxurious with pools and lakes to access after biking. We participated in the wellness on two wheels tour. It was a fabulous combination of cycling and relaxing activities. Christian, our tour guide was absolutely fantastic! Not only is he an excellent cyclist who kept us safe on the Italian roads but he is also a Chef! That’s right so we had the inside scoop for the best authentic restaurants and he always helped choose a beautiful local wine to pair with our meals. A 10/10 experience! Thank goodness we were riding on this tour, we had to compensate for all the wonderful food! Thank you Matt for the insightful remarks and history tid bits. Your keen and witty attitude kept us in stitches and looking forward to more! Looking forward to reading your books. To have 2 accomplished cyclists for our guides who are also a chef and a well travelled journalist, we could not have asked for 2 better leads.

Last week I did a day trip with Italy Bike Tours, cycling round Lake Iseo. The views of the lake set against the mountains were spectacular. Although I am not superfit (average I’d say) and not the most experienced cyclist (average I’d say), that was never a problem. My tour guide Jacqueline was encouraging and made me feel comfortable. Brakes for coffee etc in villages along the way always happened at the right time! Jacqueline was also very knowledgeable about the area and the information she shared made the tour even more worthwhile. Highly recommended!

Italy Bike Tours were fantastic. Clive made us feel like this was more than just a private area. He and his counterpart took interest in who my wife and I are, and how cycling relates to us. Being so close to the finish, seeing the riders come by and having a gg to follow what was happening on course was all amazing. I actually did the Giro tour with Clive last year and wanted to go back and ride some other spectacular climbs again in June. I've heard of so many bad situations were the company is refusing to provide a refund or unfortunately they've closed there doors. Clive has been very accommodating in these difficult times and I'll definitely be booking with Clive and Italy Bike Tours as soon as flights are back up and going. Just returned from an excellent 4 days with IBT in Italy. Based Lago d’Iseo but also cycled lake Como. Fantastic 4 days culminating in VIP Hospitality at the finish of Il Lombardia, and then rode GF Lombardia on the final day. I traveled solo but cycled with a really good group. Hard cycling but social too. I’ve been before and concerned it would be more of the same but was totally different. Highlights included: best road guiding by top notch ex pro riders and area experts (special thanks John and Alberto): aperitifs at one of our guides houses overlooking the lake (well thanks to his mother who put on a fine spread...): well scoped programme for 4 days adjusted for us as things progressed :a fine dinner laid on for us in a local restaurant which I doubt Michelin could even find if they wanted to award a star!

We did a ton of research and this was BY FAR the most bang for your buck. This included 5 days of riding with rides ranging from 25 miles to 60 miles (and tons of elevation gain), 7 nights in pretty nice hotels (nothing crazy fancy but all quality hotels), meals, brand new Bianchi Aria bikes w/ Ultegra, incredible former world tour guides, and VIP hospitality access to a mountain top finish stage along with other pre arranged Giro stage watching areas. It was truly incredible and I would absolutely go back again in a heartbeat. For the most part we didn't spend a penny while we were with the group. Just typing this up makes me very tempted to book another trip next year...

My husband is a much stronger cyclist than what I am. To have been able to go out and cycle with the peace of mind that I was being looked after if anything went wrong was a huge plus for me. My husband could go out and enjoy his cycle and not have to worry about me. Being in the slower group made no difference at all, we were all treated the same and felt just as proud on completing our cycle. Being this close to the Giro d'Ítalia was a very special experience. I also really liked staying in one place for 2 or more nights - it made seeing an area that much more worthwhile and it was not at all rushed. The guides were kind, caring, helpful and very encouraging. Clive runs a very well-organized tour, the bikes were brilliantly maintained and if you had any problems Matt was there to assist and sort it out for you. Thank you Italy Bike Tours for a wonderful experience and we will hopefully see you again for the next one!

My wife Theresa and I were fortunate enough to ride with Italy Bike Tours at the Giro D'Italia in 2018. My wife is a stronger rider than I and it was a challenge keeping up with the group. Clive and the whole crew were great about making sure our needs were met. Theresa and I lost our luggage when we first arrived in Italy and we were in panic mode.
